Hands-free Door Handle

Swift Grip is an optimized door handle that allows touch-free usage using elbows, arms, and wrists. It addresses concerns about hygiene and provides a practical solution for opening doors with both hands full or in difficult postures. Existing add-on products for door handles were not universally applicable, and handlebar designs lacked optimization for different users and situations. Through prototyping and analysis, it has a minimal design with ideal dimensions and formative elements. To be specific, it offers three intuitive usage options: arm insertion, wrist hanging, and elbow pressing. This handle has a smooth surface and minimized protrusions for user safety and the design also considers mass production feasibility, utilizing 3D modeling for casting.
