Donghwan Song is an industrial designer based in Seoul (KR) and Lausanne (CH). He completed his undergraduate studies in product design at Hongik University between 2014 and 2020. With a focus on enhancing daily life experiences, Donghwan employs his expertise in formative, material, and interactive solutions to design products that offer convenience and innovation. During his tenure in Korean design studios, he successfully collaborated with a diverse range of clients, including industry corporates like Samsung Electronics as well as promising startups. His work encompassed various domains such as consumer electronics, wearable devices, and communication equipment, involving mass production and engaging in several research and development (R&D) projects.
Additionally, Donghwan Song is a member of ADAGP (Société des auteurs dans les arts graphiques et plastiques) and Amitiés Internationales André Malraux in France. As part of these organizations, he showcases experimental works that effectively visualize his unique concept language while incorporating practical functionality.
Presently, Donghwan is pursuing a Master's degree in Product Design at ECAL in Switzerland. He consistently aims to create designs that cultivate positive user experiences and make a meaningful impact by leveraging his distinct design identity.
